19 June 2010 Joint SAR Demo
Today there was a multi agency Search and Rescue demontaration in Cobh. The purpose of the demonstration was to raise public awareness of and roles of the different search and rescue agencies. Members of the SCGSC were involved in the demonstration in a number of capacities. Victor Shine and Michael Collins were on Coastguard Duty while David Power, Paul Hogan and Eoghan Allen were onboard yacht MISTRAL and demonstrated a man overboard procedure.
